When questioned about the cruelness of YG Entertainment’s decision to constantly feature members such as B.I and Bobby in upcoming competition programs, YG CEO Yang Hyunsuk responded, “It’s not that we like survival competitions or tournaments, the world is a competition. Through this program, I believe that these artists will better understand the world. It may seem cruel now, but I don’t feel sorry because they will be stronger in the end.”

"Dance lines" and the role of visuals should be done away with. If you can dance, great! If you’re really attractive, great! But if you can’t sing or rap on the same level as the people actually under the title of vocalist or rapper, why would I pay money for that? Idols like that would be better off as just models or professional dancers. If they’re performing on a radio or on an ipod, they will become irrelevant.

Please help a friend and I raise awareness for Amur Leopards. We have started a campaign to raise money to help save the leopards from extinction. I am a senior in high school, and we were assigned a project to help raise awareness of an endangered animal. Some people are making posters, setting up booths around the community, but we thought— why not use the power of social media to spark awareness of this critically endangered species?

The Amur Leopard is the world’s most RARE cat species on Earth. There is only roughly 30 remaining in the world today. As more females are being hunted, it is getting extremely hard to reproduce, which makes this species critically endangered. Hunters kill these leopards because this species is known for their beautiful, spotted fur. This species is so rare, and so rarely seen, that only a few have ever been filmed. By donating even just a few dollars, we can help Amur Leopards survive.

You can donate (and also watch a short video by the World Wildlife Fund about the rarity of Amur Leopards) HERE.

All donations from this campaign will go directly to the World Wildlife Fund where they help to keep Amur Leopards away from harm. We need your help to keep this species alive. The deadline to donate will be November 20th, 2014 (my 17th birthday!). Thank you in advance for your generous donations.
